Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions
Follow the simple steps below to assemble your HOMCOM Modern Accent Chair (SKU:839-132V70YL). Each step will guide you through the process of securing the parts, ensuring a stable and comfortable chair.
Step 1: Attach the Legs to Cross Base Frame
- Place the Cross Base Frame (3) on a flat surface.
- Insert each Leg (4) into the each end of the Cross Base Frame.
- For each leg connection, stack the hardware in this exact order: M6×45mm Screw (5) → Lock Washer (6) → M6×16mm Washer (8) → M6 Nut (7) as shown in image.
- Hold the M6 Nut (7) in place with the Wrench (9) while using the M6 Allen Key (10) to tighten the M6×45mm Screw (5).
- Repeat for all 4 legs until all connections are firmly tightened.
Step 2: Attach the Backrest to the Base Frame (Seat)
- Place the Base Frame (1) upright on a flat surface facing you.
- Hold the Backrest (2) above the seat and align the two clip points on both sides of the backrest with the matching slots on the Base Frame (1).
- Press the Backrest (2) downward firmly at both sides until it clicks securely into place in the Base Frame (1).
Step 3: Secure the Base Frame Underside
- Carefully flip the Base Frame (1) with the attached Backrest (2) upside down to access the underside.
- Locate the 2 pre-drilled holes at the front area of the underside of the Base Frame (1).
- Place one M6×18mm Washer (11) over each hole.
- Insert one M6×45mm Screw (5) through each washer into the hole.
- Use the M6 Allen Key (10) to tighten both screws firmly.
Step 04: Attach the Leg Assembly to the Base Frame (Seat)
- Keep the Seat frame upside down on the floor.
- Take the completed leg assembly (Cross Base Frame + 4 Legs) and position it underneath, pushing it upward to align all 4 leg posts with the 4 mounting holes on the underside of the Base Frame / Seat (1).
- At each of the 4 mounting points, place one M6×16mm Washer (8) over the hole, then insert one M6×45mm Screw (5).
- Use the M6 Allen Key (10) to tighten all 4 screws evenly and firmly.
Assembly Check (Before Use)
- Backrest should be securely attached to the Base Frame.
- Legs should be firmly in place with no wobbling.
- Ensure the Cross Base Frame is tightly fixed and aligned with the Base Frame.
