FAQs

1. Is a round dining table better than a rectangular one?

Round dining tables are often better for smaller rooms as they improve flow and make conversation easier with everyone facing each other. They also remove sharp corners, which is useful in busy households. However, rectangular tables can be more practical for larger spaces or when seating more people.

2. Are round dining tables suitable for open-plan spaces?

Round tables work well in open-plan layouts by softening the overall look and creating a natural focal point. They help define the dining area without making the space feel rigid or crowded. This makes them a practical choice for blending dining with living or kitchen areas.

3. Do round dining tables help save space?

Yes, round tables can make a room feel more spacious as they allow smoother movement with no corners to navigate. They are particularly effective in compact or awkward layouts. While they may seat fewer people than rectangular tables, they often use space more efficiently.
