FAQs

1. Can rattan garden furniture be left outside all year?

High-quality synthetic rattan can stay outdoors all year, as it is designed to handle changing weather conditions. However, long exposure to frost, snow, and moisture may reduce its lifespan over time. Using covers and storing cushions indoors helps keep it in better condition.

2. Is rattan garden furniture waterproof?

Synthetic rattan is water-resistant and can cope with light rain without immediate damage. It is not fully waterproof, as moisture can still affect cushions and internal frames if left exposed. Drying the furniture and using covers helps prevent long-term issues.

3. Does rattan furniture fade in the sun?

Most rattan furniture includes UV protection to minimise fading from sunlight exposure. Over time, constant direct sun can still cause slight colour fading or dullness. Keeping it in shaded areas or using covers helps maintain its original appearance.
