2. The Competition
The Aosom Football Prize Prediction Contest ("the Competition") is a free-to-enter prediction contest in which participants are invited to predict the final top three ranked teams in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Competition is conducted entirely free of charge, and no purchase is required at any stage.
This Competition is independently organised and operated by MH Star (UK) Ltd trading as Aosom. It is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered, or affiliated with FIFA, the FIFA World Cup™, or any national football association. All references to the FIFA World Cup are used solely to identify the sporting event upon which predictions in this Competition are based."
3. Eligibility
3.1 Who May Enter
The Competition is open to:
•Individuals who are aged 18 years or over at the time of entry;
•Individuals who are resident in the United Kingdom;
•Individuals who complete both website registration on www.aosom.co.uk and subscription to the Aosom email mailing list; and
•Individuals who are not excluded under clause 3.2 below.
3.2 Who May NOT Enter
The following persons are not eligible to participate in the Competition and any entries submitted by them will be void:
•Employees, officers, directors, contractors, consultants, or agents of MH Star (UK) Ltd or Aosom;
•Employees, officers, directors, contractors, or agents of any company within the same corporate group as MH Star (UK) Ltd;
•Any person directly or indirectly involved in the administration, organisation, judging, or operation of the Competition;
•Immediate family members (including spouses, civil partners, parents, siblings, and children) and members of the same household as any of the above;
•Any person who has previously been disqualified from any Aosom promotion or competition.
4. Competition Period
The Competition opens at 00:01 (BST) on 12 June 2026 ("the Opening Date") and closes immediately upon the determination of the Round of 16 teams in the FIFA World Cup 2026, which is anticipated to be no later than 23:59 (BST) on 4 July 2026 ("the Closing Date").
Entries submitted before the Opening Date or after the Closing Date will not be accepted. The Promoter reserves the right to extend or shorten the Competition Period by giving reasonable notice, and will update these Terms and Conditions accordingly. No entries will be accepted once the Closing Date has passed.
5. How to Enter
To enter the Competition, participants must complete all of the following steps during the Competition Period:
•Visit the dedicated event page on www.aosom.co.uk;
•Complete the full website registration process;
•Subscribe to the Aosom email mailing list;
•Follow the on-screen instructions to select your predicted teams for: (a) the Champion; (b) the Runner-up; and (c) the Third Place finisher; and
•Submit your entry by clicking the confirmation button.
Receipt of a confirmation message on screen (or by email) will constitute successful entry. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or otherwise fail to follow the instructions will be disqualified.
Once submitted, your predictions cannot be altered, amended, or resubmitted under any circumstances. Please choose carefully before confirming.
6. Entry Restrictions and Anti-Fraud Provisions
The following restrictions apply to all entries:
•Each person is permitted one entry only, limited to one entry per email address.
•Duplicate entries using the same email address will be void.
•Multiple entries from different email addresses by the same individual are not permitted.
•The use of automated entry systems, bots, scripts, macros, or any other technological means to enter the Competition is strictly prohibited.
•Malicious account farming, bulk registrations, use of temporary or disposable email addresses, or any other fraudulent attempt to obtain additional entries or eligibility is strictly prohibited.
•Any attempt to manipulate or interfere with the Competition, the Promoter's website, or any related systems is prohibited.
The Promoter actively monitors for fraudulent or suspicious activity. Where the Promoter has reasonable grounds to suspect that any of the above restrictions have been breached, it reserves the right to disqualify the entrant(s) concerned, cancel any associated entries, and pursue any further remedies available at law. Disqualification under this clause will result in forfeiture of any prize(s) awarded.
7. Prizes
7.1 Participation Reward
Every eligible participant who successfully submits a valid entry in accordance with these Terms and Conditions will receive one (1) voucher with a value of £3.00 (three pounds sterling), redeemable against purchases on www.aosom.co.uk.
7.2 Grand Prize
Participant(s) who accurately predict the exact final rankings for all three of the top positions - Champion, Runner-up, and Third Place - in the correct order, as determined by the official final results of the FIFA World Cup 2026, will receive one (1) additional voucher with a value of £15.00 (fifteen pounds sterling), redeemable against purchases on www.aosom.co.uk. Grand Prize winners will also be entered into a prize draw for one lucky winner to win a HOMCOM Sofa bed (83B-174V70LG).
7.3 Prize Conditions
All prizes are subject to the following conditions:
•Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and have no cash alternative or monetary equivalent.
•No change will be given if the value of the prize is not fully used in a single transaction.
•Voucher codes will be issued electronically to the email address associated with the winner’s registered account.
•Vouchers are subject to specific validity periods and usage terms as set out on the voucher itself. It is the winner’s responsibility to use the voucher before it expires.
•Vouchers may be used in conjunction with other eligible discount codes, subject to exclusions and restrictions as notified at the time of use or as set out in the voucher’s terms.
•Certain products may be excluded from use with promotional vouchers; details will be stated on the relevant product page or voucher terms.
•The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances make this necessary.
8. Judging and Results
Predictions will be judged solely against the official final results of the FIFA World Cup 2026 as published by the relevant governing body (FIFA) at the conclusion of the tournament. Results are based on the standings at the end of official play, including any extra time or penalty shoot-outs applied in accordance with FIFA competition rules.
No account will be taken of any subsequent changes to the official results, including but not limited to post-tournament disciplinary action, disqualifications, appeals, or any other retrospective amendments to the standings. Prediction outcomes will not be altered retroactively in any circumstances.
Where the Competition results in no participant correctly predicting all three positions (Champion, Runner-up, and Third Place in the correct order), no Grand Prize will be awarded. This will not affect the distribution of Participation Rewards to eligible entrants.
Where the Competition results in multiple participants correctly predicting all three positions, all such participants shall each receive the Grand Prize in full.
9. Data Protection and Privacy
Personal data collected in connection with the Competition will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, available at aosom.co.uk/page/privacy-home. By entering the Competition, participants consent to the Promoter processing their personal data for the purposes of administering the Competition, including contacting entrants regarding their entry and distributing prizes.
The Promoter will not sell or disclose personal data to third parties for marketing purposes without the explicit consent of the entrant. Subscription to the Aosom mailing list is a condition of entry; participants may subsequently manage their marketing preferences in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

10. Disqualification
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant, at any time and at its sole and absolute discretion, if:
•The entrant is ineligible under clause 3 of these Terms and Conditions;
•The entry is incomplete, inaccurate, or fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions;
•The entrant has breached any entry restriction set out in clause 6;
•The Promoter has reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, dishonesty, or any misrepresentation by the entrant;
•The entrant’s conduct is, in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion, inappropriate, offensive, or contrary to the spirit of the Competition; or
•The entrant has violated these Terms and Conditions in any other material respect.
Disqualification will result in forfeiture of any prize(s) awarded or withheld. The Promoter may also ban any disqualified participant from future Aosom competitions or promotions. The Promoter’s decision to disqualify any participant shall be final and binding.
11. Promoter’s Rights and Reservation of Powers
The Promoter reserves the following rights, each of which may be exercised at any time at the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion:
•To amend, suspend, or withdraw the Competition (or any part of it) at any time, including in the event of circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
•To amend, update, or supplement these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated Terms and Conditions will be published at www.aosom.co.uk and will take effect upon publication.
•To disqualify any entrant in accordance with clause 10.
•To extend or shorten the Competition Period.
•To substitute any prize with an alternative of equal or greater value.
•To void entries or withhold prizes where the Promoter reasonably suspects fraud or rule-breaking.
•To cancel, postpone, or alter any aspect of the Competition in response to technical failures, errors, or events outside the Promoter’s control.
In all matters relating to the Competition, including but not limited to eligibility, compliance with these Terms and Conditions, and the determination of winners, the decision of the Promoter shall be final and binding on all participants. No correspondence, challenge, or appeal will be entered into.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
•The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted, misdirected, or not received due to technical failures or any other cause beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
•The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communication line failure, or theft, destruction, or unauthorised access to entries.
•The Promoter’s liability to any participant is limited to the face value of the prize to which that participant is entitled.
•Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits the Promoter’s liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by its negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Participation in the Competition is at the entrant’s own risk. The Promoter makes no warranty or representation regarding the availability or uninterrupted operation of the Competition website.
13. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Competition, its branding, and associated materials belong to MH Star (UK) Ltd or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions grants any participant any right or licence in such intellectual property.
14. No Purchase Necessary — Free Entry Route
To the extent required by applicable law, no purchase of any product or service is required to enter or win this Competition. Participants are not required to spend any money to participate and the act of subscribing to the Aosom mailing list incurs no charge. The chances of winning are not enhanced by any purchase.
15. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
Any complaints regarding the administration of the Competition should be submitted in writing to the Promoter at the contact details available at www.aosom.co.uk within 30 days of the relevant event. The Promoter will acknowledge receipt and endeavour to respond within 28 days.
These Terms and Conditions and any dispute arising from or in connection with the Competition shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
16. General
•If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, it shall be severed from the remainder, which shall continue in full force and effect.
•The Promoter’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of its right to do so at any subsequent time.
•These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the Competition and supersede all prior representations, agreements, or understandings (whether written or oral).
•These Terms and Conditions apply in addition to, and do not replace, the Aosom website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy available at aosom.co.uk/page/privacy-home
