Should be good for larger cats
Cat ran away from home day after I installed the tower. Not sure what that says about it. But it’s definitely okay for larger cats my 24lbs toddler seems to think I installed it a window seat! I stopped it the first few days but honestly 🤷♀️ you win some you loose some. Some cat towers are perfect for showing off all you trucks to the neighborhood kids.

Needs to be mounted to the wall
Will need to mount it to the wall or even a smallest cat will knock it out, if you want to have it in the middle of the room this not an option for you.

Great cat tree. Sturdy and easy to build. My kitten loves it!
This cat tree is much better quality and more sturdy than I had anticipated based on the cost. It arrived quickly and was relatively easy to assemble with parts labelled. Ive not used the fixing bracket, just relying on the tension spring between the tree and the celing. My kitten really loves it. I've added some cat toys. She is a climber and not old enough to be outside yet so this has been such a good investment to keep her entertained and stop her climbing me! She enjoys sleeping in the nest... Kitty Tower
Quick to assemble though hard to get the top piece in place. It depresses down on a spring but was still too high for my ceiling so had to saw a piece off the tubing and it is difficult to guage the right amount. Securing it to a wall is definitely needed as it's height can make it a bit unsteady
